The many tiny differences in terroir, so special for the Burgundy region, are expressed by the medium of this grape variety. This grape ripens relatively early so it is not suitable for very warm regions. Pinot noir is also very sensitive to the size of crop. Crops must be reduced. In the younger wines one can taste and smell raspberries, strawberries, cherries, violets and cabbage.
