Approx. 95% of the Austrian Blaufränkisch production comes from the area of Mittelburgenland, where the climate is perfect for this grape. A very fruity variety. The variety also carries the names: Lemberger, Limberger (Germany), Kékfrankos (Hungary), Frankovka (Croatia, Slovenia, Czechia, Slowakia) Frankonia (Italiy). The size of the grape is medium to big.
